Case Study on Providing Staffing for Medical Mission Essential Services
STAHL created GPA-HRSA as a case study to develop methodologies for small businesses to offer heightened workforce solutions to support Federal Hospitals, Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs), and clinics.
The result was a highly-successful offering that provided tremendous insight to STAHl Consulting regarding staffing methodologies, capabilities, and unique approaches. This case study was critical in the development of incumbent and Key Personnel staffing for our G4i Staffing offering.
GPA-HRSA carefully selected high performing physicians, nurses, and ancillary personnel with proven skills, current training, and a personal commitment to quality patient care that translated to the healthcare program’s success.
Program and Medical Personnel Management
Our team offered a background of working within the medical industry to draw upon an intimate knowledge of operational pain points such as budget constraints, retention, and rapid placement requirements. This insight, coupled with our made-to-measure customer approach, positioned us among a select few staffing organizations with the insight to provide exceptional mission support.
Our management approach did not follow the “fill-and-bill” model employed by many staffing agencies. GPA-HRSA operated under the assumption that each facility, outpatient clinic, or healthcare program had unique requirements and challenges. Finding just the right professionals to fill each position was only one piece of the puzzle. Providing the appropriate program oversight through a stringent management system we developed. Medical Personnel Management Information System (MPMIS) was critical to recruiting and retaining the highest caliber of HCPs to meet mission needs and ensure outstanding patient care.
This system was a part of the genesis for our current recruiting systems to quickly identify, qualify, and secure Incumbent and Key Personnel for contractors on Government programs.
Healthcare Worker Services
We chose healthcare worker services for our operational Case Study due to the critical nature of staffing in this field. The need for fast, efficient, and correct staffing ensured that we were working in a complex environment that did not allow for failure.
We provided medical professionals in a broad range of labor categories-ranging from Laboratory Technicians and Nurses to Neurosurgeons. All of our healthcare professionals were properly credentialed, met appropriate security requirements, and had the requisite expertise, talent, and desire to excel within an assigned contract. Our success throughout this program drove repeat requirements to fulfill open positions.
A Unique Medical Partnership
To make the most of this Case Study, GPA-HRSA was formed as a partnership between our G4i Staffing, Inc. company and the Ponce School of Medicine (PSM) University of Puerto Rico. The company was founded in response to the ongoing challenges faced within Federal healthcare to find highly qualified healthcare personnel on a consistent basis. Through this unique relationship leveraging G4i’s developing industry best practices and the Ponce School of Medicine’s Institutional networks, we were able to quickly identify and place both new graduates and experienced HCPs within the Federal healthcare community.
Built upon a foundation of industry knowledge, GPA-HRSA drove innovative healthcare staffing solutions that stayed ahead of the rapid changes impacting government medical programs to ensure we could continually exceed customer’s expectations.
Successful Case Study
We undertook this Case Study to more fully develop our staffing methodologies to capture Incumbents and Key Personnel for Government Contractors in the Federal workspace in support of our STAHL Consulting offering. We wanted a deeper understanding of the problems, issues, and challenges that confront contractors so that we could develop a better model for G4i Staffing in support of our STAHL Consulting clients.
Although the GPA-HRSA Case Study was challenging, those challenges were critical in helping us develop tools and processes for recruiting and placement. The Case Study proved that recruiting for Government Contractors could be done effectively and with great success if the environment is well understood and recruiting goes well-beyond simply placing ads on a service.
STAHL Consulting and G4i Staffing now have the tools in place to help any Government Contractor locate, qualify, and capture critical Incumbent Personnel and Key Personnel well before an RFP hits the street.
